Stand-Up Comedian Michael Lenoci and His Perspective on Life

Comedy Central. Laugh Factory. Hollywood Improv. The Comedy Store

Has welcomed ALL of the Greatest Comics Alive and Past Time…

And on the Rise you will find this guy destined to be known by everyone in a decade.

He’s toured with, opened for, and sat in ballrooms, greenrooms, and shared stages with men and woman that have made you laugh until your blue in the head…

12 years into the game.

Loves to watch sports and enjoy life when not making people enjoy their life…

Check out his work and you’ll see him working crowds across the country and the waves of laughs that follow.

He makes it sound simple…

Here’s a sound bite he jokes on during our time together...

“We grow up in a society where you're taught to choose things that will give you security.”

He lays into how the system works and is designed to produce more of the same and that is exactly what he DID NOT want.

He was inspired by George Carlin, Ellen Degeneres, Chris Rock, Robin Williams…back when HBO was where you got your comedy fix, remember HBO?

That was his launch point

In fact, during our conversation, he shares what the fame game is like and how he embraces the chance to enjoy life a little…

He goes by Michael Lenoci. Not a stage name, that’s his real name

Here are a few of his humorous remarks he drives during our conversation…

“Your Passion Drives the Work Ethic”

“If you find a million people to go, I subscribe to you, you are paying all of your family’s bills”

“I’ve thought about doing stand-up from the moment I learned about it”

He’s calm and cool but you can feel the funny in him, though this one takes us beyond the laughs and into the heart and mind of the person inside the comic, aside from all the joking life has taught our guest today many lessons and helped him create a perspective only a certain few are privied to and he on the Always on the GROW Podcast we explore that other side of the human.

He kicks us off with how he found his first answers with comedy.

“My dad said it was an act.” He says.

We roll out the zoom conference center for this one as Michael joins me from LA days before he heads out for shows across the country.

I had no expectation for the direction this conversation would go but by the end I was grateful we were able to sink our teeth into this other side of the profession of comedy.

Laughing and living in the moment for this interview.

Later in the show, we talk about why memories matter, the amount of time he thinks it takes to be successful and why, and lastly the process of making it in Hollywood as a comedian and the special ingredient that he thinks is omnipresent in all success.

Michael and I have shared fun evenings together, ive sat in on him in different shows, and again no budging when it came time to get down and podcast together, wink wink ;) …

Welcome the Always on the GROW Improv, no just kidding podcast as he opens up around a few of these:

  • What Jim Carrey and Kevin Hart share in their life…

  • The secret to getting a big movie made when you are a comedian

  • His thoughts on what it takes to be funny, (not your average answer)

Michael is doing much more than comedy, he is living life on his terms, which is a respectable place to be when you know what kind of life you want to live and understand the moves you need to make it order to do so…

Traveling and touring have made this comedian more wise along the way, but don’t judge him if you hear his material, it’s funny, but it might just offend some of you…

Let’s do this, the video version is up above! Enjoy.
